Located in the Greater Kruger Area of South Africa within the private reserve of Kapama Private Game Reserve, Jabulani’s inspiring twenty-year journey began with one brave little elephant.
Jabulani’s story began with an injured elephant calf found stuck in a silt dam. After rehabilitation, the elephant (named Jabulani), was repeatedly rejected when attempts were made to reintroduce him to the wild. 5 Years later, a herd of hand-reared elephants in Zimbabwe were to be culled, and the owners of Jabulani decided to bring them to South Africa, hoping Jabulani would be accepted by them – he was. The herd’s care posed a substantial cost, leading to the decision to build a luxury lodge that would sustain them. Fast forward to 2021, with a significant shift in the way that consumers are wanting to book their safari experiences in South Africa, Jabulani recognised the need to directly and effectively reach guests wanting to book their safaris online. Flux was contracted to digitally transform the Jabulani brand, creating a relevant, inspiring, seamless online user experience that leads online users to book or enquire with Jabulani.
