Hugo Jankowitz was inspired by his own love for travel to open up his home, art collection and views. He wanted to share with other guests what he normally seeks – something unique and luxurious, but with a personal touch. Being situated in one of the most desirable travel destinations in the world comes with inevitable competition, with Cape Town boasting some of the best hotels the hospitality industry has to offer. Flux was tasked in mid-2020 with capturing the personable style and private, awe-inspiring location of 21 Nettleton, and telling its unique story through a revamped digital brand presence.
A new website with design that sets 21 Nettleton apart from its peers, and showcases its unique character. More so, one with a carefully crafted user experience that affords the user easy direct booking access or the option to engage via conversational-style enquiry forms. We also leveraged the client’s location, with Cape Town being a major international travel hub, to include traveller itinerary ideas which inspires and educates prospective guests to add on to their Cape Town experience at 21 Nettleton with significant yield benefit to the client. Our team coupled the brand’s website relaunch with performance-marketing services, which generated impressive yield results in spite of tough market conditions due to the global pandemic, and continues to do so as the travel industry begins its recovery.
